Tinsel and her sisters (Angel, Holly, and Silver “Belle”) were lucky to be rescued shortly before Christmas. They enjoyed their first Christmas in a warm home surrounded by love. Now that Christmas is over they are on the search for their forever family.Tinsel is a sweet little girl who loves playing with her sister and furry foster siblings. She is more active and vocal than her sister. Tinsel enjoys wrestling with her sister Holly and the smaller resident dog. She isn’t afraid to chase or bark at the bigger dogs in the house, and climbs all over the resident lab. Tinsel is more outgoing than her sister and will seek out people and toys without hesitation. She loves treats, bones, toys, a soft pet bed to curl up in, and stealing shoes. Tinsel loves to get her belly rubbed and snuggle in the rocking chair. She is making progress with potty training as she follows the resident dogs outside. She also seems to like romping in the snow. Tinsel will kennel willingly for a treat and runs as soon as she hears the lid on the treat can. She is typically quiet in her kennel, but will bark if she has made a mess or needs to go out. Tinsel’s ears have recently stood up, giving her a lot of expressive personality when she looks at you. Tinsel has done fine with the resident cats and her human foster sister who is 9. Tinsel would do great in a home where her family will continue to play with her, take her on walks, and work on training so that she can be the best girl possible.
