My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Merle, a gentle soul with a heart of gold. His days were once spent in the great outdoors, navigating the world as part of a feral colony. But Merle's sweet and friendly nature sets him apart. He's a little shy, often retreating to a quiet corner, but with a gentle approach, he'll soon be purring contentedly. Merle's life has been a journey of survival, but now he needs a hero. He's not looking for grand gestures, just a loving home where he can feel safe and loved. Merle has dental disease that has left him with only three teeth, and because of that, he was very under weight. He is making good progress toward maintaining an healthy weight. Adopting Merle isn't just about giving a cat a home, it's about welcoming a friend who will offer unconditional love and companionship in return.

More about this rescue

Purrfect PawPrints is an all volunteer 501(c)3 rescue organization dedicated to the health, well-being and welfare of all cats whether they are domestic, stray, abandoned or feral. We will vaccinate, spay/neuter, and train each animal to prepare them for a permanent loving home they so deserve. We will attempt to educate owners as to the proper care and nurturing of their animals. We will identify feral cat colonies with the help and information provided by volunteers and other concerned individuals. We will Trap-Neuter/Spay-Release, vaccinate, feed and care for these colonies on a daily basis.
