Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Mia, a gentle 5-year-old terrier mix who was recently surrendered to us and is now looking for a fresh start in a loving home. Mia is still learning all of her new surroundings. During playtime, she sniffed at balls, squeaky toys, and ropes but quickly moved on, likely because sudden movements make her a bit wary. When it comes to new people, Mia can be a bit shy and cautious at first, but once she feels comfortable, she warms up and shows her sweet, affectionate side. She knows `sit` and is very treat-motivated and eager to learn more. Mia walks well on a leash and is not reactive to other dogs, but she does pull a bit once her business is done. She would do best with older kids (17+) due to her tendency to get overstimulated during play. Mia will need a dog-to-dog test to assess her comfort level with other dogs. She’s looking for a patient home that can give her the time she needs to feel secure and continue to build confidence. If you’re ready to welcome a sweet, low-key companion into your home, Mia might just be the perfect fit for you!
