Meet Apollo, a gentle and sweet-natured dog who's looking for his new start! He can be a bit shy with new people, but once he gets to know you, you'll be besties for life. He loves to seek out attention and petting from anyone he knows, also enjoys some friendly chit-chat, or "husky talk." Apollo is a playful, bouncy boy who will show off his zoomies and engage with toys. Due to his shy nature, he'll do best in a home without other dogs, and any children should be able to understand his body language and give him his space. If you're ready to help this handsome pup blossom into the happy boy he's meant to be, come by our San Diego campus and meet him today!

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized.
