Meet Tamara, the spirited little leader of the puppy pack! At just 4 months old, this sweet girl was rescued from a ditch along with her sisters, and she's already showing her strong, confident personality. Tamara loves to be the boss of the bunch, always leading her siblings in their playful adventures!

She’s nearly 100% potty trained and fully crate trained—what a smart girl! Tamara would thrive in any home, whether as the only pup or with other canine friends (she loves a good playdate). Her big, bright eyes light up when she's around other dogs, and she's always up for some fun!

Though she's not a fan of long car rides (motion sickness can be a bummer), Tamara is hopeful she'll outgrow it in time. But here’s the exciting part: she had her first experience in the snow this week... and totally fell in love with it! â„ï¸

Tamara is looking for her forever home where she can continue being the joyful, playful, and loving little leader she was always meant to be. Could that home be yours?

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Go to: http://www.operationpetsalive.org/AdoptionApplication.php and complete an Adoption Application. This is not a commitment to adopt.

2.
Meet the Pet

Once application is received, we review the information and contact you with any questions and coordinate for you to meet the animal.

3.
Approve Application

After you have met the pet and the application is approved, you will need to complete the Adoption Contract.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once the Adoption Contract is signed you will be able to take home your new pet!

5.
Home Check

We reserve the right to do home visits and contact your current vet if applicable with final adoption contingent on results.

Additional adoption info

The adoption fees are as follows:
Dogs: Puppies up to 6 mos old: $250
Dogs over 6 mos old: $185
Senior Dogs 8 yrs old or older: $150
Adoption fee includes being dewormed, current on vaccinations (first two DAPPs for puppies), heartworm tested (>6mo), spayed/neutered and rabies vaccination and microchip.
Cats: less than 6 mos old: $125
6 mos and older: $100
Senior cats 8 yrs or older: $80
Adoption fee includes being dewormed, current on vaccinations, combo tested (exemptions for litters), spayed/neutered and micrcochip.
Texas Barn Cats: Two cats for $50 each with each additional cat for $30 - includes spayed/neutered, ear tipping, FVRCP and 1 year rabies. All fees include the required sales tax for animals adopted from rescue organizations.
