Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Coeur d'Alene, ID
Ruger, a 21-month-old Great Dane, boasts an impressive array of skills, including sitting, shaking, and when invited, placing his front paws on shoulders. Unfortunately, his previous owners relinquished him due to concerns about their toddlers' safety around his food bowl during meals. Although Ruger's growls were defensive, caution was necessary to protect the young children. This gentle giant has demonstrated exceptional recall and is impeccably house and crate trained. Ruger prefers sleeping in an open crate and has adapted well to his foster environment, coexisting harmoniously with other dogs. Given his size, we recommend a household with children aged 10 and above. Ruger is eager to find a permanent companion who can provide him with the focused attention he craves.
