Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Say hi to Elby who is looking for her forever family! This extremely sweet girl has never met a stranger- she absolutely adores people and thinks other dogs are a TON of fun. We call her Wiggle Butt because that's what happens when she sees a person. While she loves just about every dog she meets, her play style can be hype so a dog who enjoys that will be her best match.
Elby has moderate-high energy. She loves her backyard but would also be okay without one as long as you make time to walk her daily. She has done some agility and scent work and loves to learn. While she's excited to see people out and about she also is getting good at settling in public places and enjoys a trip to Petsmart or the local brewery. She also rides very well in the car and would make an excellent adventure buddy! Once she's had her exercise, a nap on the couch is her next favorite thing.
Elby is house and crate trained and stays loose in "her" room while her foster is out. Due to her excitement and energy Elby is not a great fit for kiddos under the age of 12. She is not suited for a home with cats. She has worked hard in training and knows a lot including sit, down, touch, wait, and spin. Her foster is a dog trainer and anyone who adopts Elby will be given 3 free "transition" sessions to learn her cues and help her settle in!
