Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Louis from the One Direction litter (Liam, Niall, Harry, Louis, and Zayn)! He was part of an oops litter (mom has been fixed) that came to us just before Christmas. He was born on September 1, 2024, and is a Chiweenie mix weighing less than 10 lbs. Louis is in a foster home with other dogs and a cat; he regularly plays with children. He is afraid of loud noises and tries to run away from them. Here is what his foster has to say about him:
Louis has come a long way. Initially, he wanted nothing to do with us, ran from us, would hide, and growl at us. That all has changed. He now loves being held and begs for it constantly. He nips for attention and is still learning that that is a "no-no". He is now very attached to his humans and will follow us around like a typical puppy. He plays well with his litter mates and my bigger dogs.
Louis will need time to adjust to his new home and it’s expectations. His future family should be aware that pet ownership is a lifelong commitment, requiring daily exercise, ongoing training, and socialization. A good puppy is a tired puppy.
If you're considering adopting Louis, we request that you DO NOT CALL us. Instead, please complete an online application on 4 Paws Animal Rescue's website at www.4pawz.org. We verify the care of past/current pets. Our primary goal is to find the best homes for all our dogs and cats. As such, we reserve the right to approve or deny adoption applications based on determining what's in the pet's best interest.
