Tori is a beautiful 2-year old female Tortoiseshell kitty who was brought to HSOV on October 13, 2024 after she was found on Hickory Drive in Little Hocking Ohio. Tori had given birth to four kittens in the neighborhood in late August 2024. Three of her kittens (Tasha, Tony, and Troy) were brought to HSOV on October 12th. Her fourth kitten (Toya) joined her siblings on October 17th.
Tori has a dark brown/black/orange/beige short smooth coat in a Tortoiseshell pattern, a long tail, and a lovely face with golden eyes, an orange stripe on her muzzle/forehead, and long black whiskers.
This little momma was a very frightened kitty when she entered our shelter, and our compassionate HSOV kennel techs have given her extra TLC and surrounded her with comfort items (soft blankets, beds, and small cardboard boxes which are her 'safe havens'). Tori is currently in The Jungle Room (one of our cat adoption rooms) where she is continuing to work on her social skills.
Tori was given vaccinations and Drontal wormer on October 18, 2024. She weighs approximately 7 lbs. Tori was given booster vaccines on November 14, 2024.
These photos of Tori were taken during the month of December 2024 where she was most comfortable (in her favorite cardboard box) (smile). Tori is being housed in a double-wide cage with a connecting portal, so a few of these photos were taken through the portal ("from afar") in order to show Tori's adorable facial expressions.
Tori will be spayed (tentative in late January 2025) and will be looking for an appropriate home with someone who will understand what it's like to be a frightened little kitty and will have patience to give her the time she needs to acclimate to her new home/surroundings.
