My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blondie may be a little shy at first, but don’t let that fool you—this almost 2-year-old sweetheart is a true brave-heart. She’s on a journey of confidence and trust, taking small steps every day to overcome her fears, and with a little patience, she’ll become your most devoted friend.

Blondie is a loving and affectionate girl who absolutely adores physical touch from her friends. She’ll melt into your hands during consent-based petting, happily soaking up all the gentle love you have to offer. Whether it's a soft scratch behind the ears or a belly rub, Blondie thrives on the comfort of being close to those she trusts.

While Blondie might need time to adjust to new surroundings or faces, her resilience shines through. With your patience and understanding, she’ll show you just how much she’s capable of, revealing a playful and curious side when she feels safe. She's a huge fan of enrichment, always excited for a new puzzle, treat-dispensing toy, or mental challenge to keep her engaged.

Blondie is looking for a calm, patient home where she can continue to blossom at her own pace. She’d thrive with owners who respect her boundaries and understand that she’s a work-in-progress who deserves all the kindness and support the world has to offer.

Are you ready to be Blondie’s partner in this wonderful journey? If you’re looking for a dog who is as sweet as she is brave, Blondie might just be the perfect match for you!

My adoption comes with some extra benefits at the time of adoption!

Blonde is an All-Star dog! Her adoption appointment includes a discussion with our Training Team, and she will go home with his very own no-pull-harness and a few enrichment goodies to help get her off to a good start! To schedule an appointment to meet Blondie, email info@ahconnects.org (please include your name and phone number), and the staff will be happy to help you!
