My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there me name is Perdita and I am a working dog in training. Whose going to be the one training me? Well it`s gunna be you of course, no better person to form a long lasting bond with between dog and handler. I didn`t have much leash experience when I first came to HALO, and with daily walks I`ve been getting the hang of it. I`ve also learned how to sit for snacks and I am always craving more things to do. I`ll need to meet any current dogs you have already to make sure we can be best of buds. An active gal like me will need to go to a house that has a yard for us to play in, and the fencing must be over 6 feet tall and not a chain link fence. It`s not that I`m mischievous, I`m a young pup and I want to run around and explore this world of ours. If you train me right I could be a good hiking and camping dog, or a disc and agility champion, whatever you want I`m ready for it. We're open daily by appointment for adoptions Mon - Fri 11a - 6p and Sat & sun 11a - 5p. We also offer microchipping by appointment. All our our animals are spayed and neutered, microchipped and vaccinated before adoption.
