Meet Lariat!

Lariat is a wonderful companion who is ready to find his forever home. He’s incredibly well-behaved in the car, remaining quiet and calm during rides. House-trained and adaptable, he doesn’t react to barking neighbors, making him a great choice for a peaceful household (or those with not-so-peaceful neighbors).

One of Lariat's favorite pastimes is playing in the water, and he enjoys independent playtime, often checking in with you to make sure you’re nearby. He also loves a good game of fetch, and will bring the ball/toy back!

On the leash, Lariat is a dream to walk, making outings enjoyable for everyone. His affectionate nature means he’s always ready for some extra love and attention. If you’re looking for a loyal friend who embodies both independence and affection, Lariat might just be the perfect match for you!

Step two:
Using the provided contact form here or on the APA! website, you can send an inquiry on the animal(s) you are interested in.

Step three:
Our adoption team will connect you to the foster home or someone at the shelter location where the animal is currently living to learn more about the animal and potentially set up a visit!

Step four:
After meeting the animal you would like to adopt, instructions for completing the adoption paperwork, scheduling an appointment, and picking up your new family member will be shared with you!
