My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tom:

I am a super handsome guy and I love to cuddle once I am comfortable in my surroundings! I would enjoy being an indoor/outdoor cat. My previous home reported that I would try to get out whenever I could, and I seemed to enjoy being outside, so we are looking for adopters for me who can provide a safe indoor/outdoor option.

I have had litter box issues, especially when another male cat was brought into the home. Staff and matchmakers have handouts and can provide advice on how to introduce me to my new home to ensure a successful transition.

Compatibility:
Cats: Possibly with an extremely slow introduction. I had a difficult introduction with a cat in my previous home.
Dogs: No history - possibly, if a mellow, cat-savvy dog. The fewer variables, the better for Tom!
Kids: Yes, older kids who can read cat body language and interact appropriately. Again, the fewer variables, the better for Tom!

The shelter is open Tuesday through Sunday from noon - 4:30 pm, with no appointment needed to meet available cats.
