My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Tristan!

If you`re looking for a dog that sleeps all night on his dog bed, loves wearing clothing, will cuddle with you and your friends, and doesn`t shed or drool... look no further!

I`m a velcro dog that loves to be held and cuddled, but I understand if you want me to be on my dog bed instead of in your lap. My bursts of energy don`t last very long, and I cannot tell you enough how much I love to be wrapped in blankets, clothing, or in your arms. My foster parents didn`t have a crate, but I still sleep all night on my big comfy dog bed in their room. They don`t let me on their bed or couch, but sometimes on special movie nights they`ll move my red blanket onto their laps which means I get some special cuddle time on the couch.

I barely shed and never slobber except for some water dripping off my face after I slurp some up after a walk! For other cleaning pros, my foster mom is happy to report that Roombas don`t bother me. I also don`t mind sharing a shower with you for a quick rinse if you think I need it. Anything to get more cuddles from you! I LOVE people! My foster parents had a large dinner party and I got pets from every single human. I was allowed to sit on the bench between people for pets because I didn`t go after the food on the table. Barky dogs and loud kids overwhelm me right now, so I need some help being my best self here. I`ve been able to say hello to calm/quiet dogs and kids, but if I get barked at, I get really flustered. Squirrels make me go nuts! I want to catch them!
