Meet Toasty Puff, the lovable, big orange and white bundle of joy! This handsome 4-year-old male cat is a true survivor, having been rescued from the impound after spending time as a stray. Toasty is a big boy with an even bigger heart, and he’s ready to show you just how sweet and playful he can be.
Toasty loves to explore his surroundings, rubbing against anything he can find and claiming it as his own—after all, everything deserves a little "Toasty love!" He enjoys lounging in the window, soaking up the sun and keeping an eye on the world around him. While he has a bold personality, Toasty is remarkably easy going when it comes to other cats, even if they hiss at him. He’s patient and appreciates a slow introduction to new furry friends, giving them time to adjust to his presence.
However, when it comes to dogs, Toasty isn’t a fan. He’s quick to let them know he’s not interested in interacting, often with a hiss or a swat to send the message.
With his charming, laid-back attitude and endless curiosity, Toasty Puff is sure to make himself right at home in your heart. If you're looking for a companion who's both adventurous and affectionate (and prefers his space from dogs), Toasty is your guy!
One big thing about me you should know is that I have Feline Immunodeficiency Virus but please don’t let that scare you away from adopting me! Click here to learn more about Feline Immunodeficiency Virus.
Toasty Puff is from a local shelter. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page.
If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
