My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bayou is a loving, healthy 7-year-old dog, weighing about 70 lbs, who has been part of our family for 5 wonderful years. We adopted him when he was around 2 years old, and he's been an amazing companion ever since. He would thrive as an indoor dog and loves spending time with his people. Bayou enjoys going on walks, is fully house-trained, and is excellent on a leash.

He does well in most situations but may need a bit of extra care when meeting other large male dogs. Like many dogs, he is sensitive to loud noises such as fireworks and thunder, so he will need a safe and quiet place indoors during those times.

Unfortunately, with a toddler and a newborn in our home, we find ourselves unable to give Bayou the time and attention he truly deserves. It is a very hard decision for us, but we are looking for a loving new home where he can get the care and affection he needs. Bayou has been a wonderful part of our lives
