Riley is a purebred Blue Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) she's the smaller size at about 40lbs. She is a super sweet loving dog, and perfect for a single-dog family with older kids who won't pick on her. She is an amazing companion for hiking, running, and any adventure. Like all Heelers she is very territorial, we have been working on training with her for the past 2 months, she has come a long way but still needs some work, she is crate and house-trained, but still has issues jumping up and licking your face. She loves to fetch but needs to be managed because she will play until she makes herself sick.
We are trying to find someone who understands heelers and their needs so she can find her forever home, she's a nervous little dog and will nip (as heelers do) but she seems to nip a little more than we are used to. She is free to a good home, she was spayed in October, and we spoil her with her food, I'm happy to share our homemade recipe if needed. Thank you!
