PA Kennel License #5254Wags Rescue & ReferralSouthampton Pa 18966 Available 1/5/2024 Originated fromAllmons All About Animals DL# 17277Blackshear GA 31516 Walker has done well in his foster home with cats but when he got to comfortable in his home he let it be know that he doesn't actually really like cats. Walker did not injure his ex cat friend but he is not recommended for a home with cats. He is still a gentle soul and an amazing calm and gentle soul. Just likes people and dogs and is no longer happy cohabitating with felines. Gentle soul Walker is 6 years old and weighs about 50 pounds. He is crate trained and 95% housebroken in his foster home. He is learning to sit for treats, and is learning what treats *are* (right now he's very fussy as he's in the early stages of figuring things out)! Walker is quiet as a churchmouse in his crate, but he does let loose with an occasional howl when he's hungry or excited, and he's easily diverted. He enjoys toys, especially destroying stuffies! He likes squeaky toys too. Walker is living with two female dogs and a surly cat, and gets along with everyone. He likes humans andis a little standoffish at first, but he warms up quickly and has taken to snoozing on the couch alongside his humans while they watch tv. Walker is in many ways a typical hound, so expect some counter surfing. He is learning how to live in a house and is doing beautifully! He would be a great addition to a family since he is so low key. Please visit our website www.wagsrescue.org to learn more about this amazing dog and Wags Rescue.
