My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cookie – The Sweetest Little Speckled Pup!

Cookie is a 9-week-old Rat Terrier mix with a stunning dark brindle and white coat adorned with countless adorable speckles. Rescued from abandonment in Texas along with her siblings, Cookie has quickly shown she’s full of love, energy, and a bit of spunky charm.

Don’t be fooled by her soulful gaze—Cookie is an energetic and playful puppy who loves romping with her littermates and the two adult dogs in her foster home (a 15 lb Rat Terrier and a 30 lb mixed breed). She thrives in the company of others, whether it’s a pup or her favorite 9-year-old human, who she adores snuggling with. Cookie’s love for treats, especially carrots, and chew toys makes her an easily motivated little learner.

This vocal pup is known for her cute bark, especially when she’s excited during playtime. She’s kid-friendly, loves being held, and is adjusting well to her new name. Cookie is excelling with potty pads and starting to explore the great outdoors in short bursts as she gets used to leash walking and the weather. Her foster family is also working on basic commands, like "sit," with treat rewards.

Cookie is used to nail trims, having her mouth checked, and even tolerates bath time like a champ. She and her siblings love to sleep in a big, cozy puppy pile, but she also enjoys one-on-one time with her humans and the adult dogs in the house.

If you’re looking for a lively, loving companion with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Cookie is ready to sprinkle your life with joy and cuddles!
