Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Cara is a 6.5 year old German Shepard mix (she may have some corgi in her) & it has been such a privilege to foster her. True to her breed, she makes for a loyal companion that is protective of her person. She loves field trips to Town Square, Downtown Summerlin, or just simple walks in the park. She is trained to sit, shake, stay/lay-down, & give paw, & turn around. We are still finding out what else she can do. She takes food/treats gently, is good with kids, but selective with other dogs. Because she had been abandoned at a boarding facility & has constantly been around people since, she has some separation anxiety when you leave the residence, & this will need to be worked on if she is to be left alone for long periods of time. She is not crate trained. We have been working on her manners out in public & she does great at restaurants & coffee shops & will just lay down & chill if you tell her to. She is the best dog a girl can ask for & anyone that adopts her will be so lucky.
