Sorrell is a 2-year-old male pit mix with a heart full of love and a playful spirit! Pulled from Evansville Animal Care and Control, Sorrell may have some unique legs that slow him down, but they certainly don't slow down his goofy, joyful personality!

Sorrell is playful and ready to bring endless joy and laughter to his forever home. He’ll need an onsite meet and greet with other dogs, and due to his history, we’re unsure how he does with cats and kids, but we can certainly do cat testing.

We require all adopters to complete an application and pay an adoption fee. Adoption fees vary, but are usually $160 to $185. We may do a vet reference check and/or home visit.

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
