Meet Percy, a 4 year old spayed female Aussie Cattle Dog/terrier mix! She is a petite girl, weighing about 18 lbs.
Percy is shy and skittish at first, but she warms up quickly once she knows you are safe and will not hurt her. She is good with other dogs. She has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how she would do with cats.
From Percy's current foster:
"Little Miss Percy is going to make someone an amazing companion dog. Her favorite spot is cuddled up on top of you on the couch to sleep like a human baby. She is a diva and loves being the center of attention. She is housebroken and sleeps quietly in her crate at night. She is well-mannered in the house but does like to jump onto the coffe table and stare at me- just one of her quirks I guess? She is timid at first but super friendly and sweet. She had a soft, shiny coat, silky ears, and little white toe tips "
Percy is a good girl who can't wait to find her furever home! Apply to meet her today!
Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!
