Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lacey is 75% lab and 25% pointer and will turn one on 1/18. She’s approximately 60 pounds. In typical lab fashion she is obsessed with toys and will drop a ball right in your lap to throw. She is dog friendly but some may not appreciate her obliviousness to personal space and tendency to shove a toy in their face to initiate play. For this reason small children may not be the best fit simply due to her size. She has no reaction to toys being “stolen” other than to steal them back. She knows the commands sit, shake, and down. We were told she also loves to swim!
Lacey’s family unfortunately lost their home in Hurricane Helene. Coupled with her elderly owner’s mobility issues, the family made the heartbreaking but fair decision to find Lacey a family better suited for her youthful energy and size. She has been well cared for and loved. She has been kept up to date on vaccines & prevention and is spayed & microchipped. She is housebroken and crate trained. She’s also a great car rider. She could use a little more training with leash walking. Girl is strong but she’s got the basics down and is food motivated.
The adoption fee is $300 which is paid as a donation to the rescue.
