My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buddy is a sweet-natured lovebug looking for his forever home! Buddy had a rough start to life in a home where he was neglected, abused, and eventually abandoned on the street through no fault of his own. Now a little over a year old, he has shown incredible resilience and has retained all of his sweetness despite his experience. Buddy's favorite thing to do is to crawl into your lap for a snuggle session while he purrs! He will greet you at the door with an adorable chirp and likes to be held. He is having fun learning what cat toys are and loves catnip and treats! He is good with other cats. Buddy is happy and grateful to be safe indoors but is looking for a lap he can purr in forever.

Buddy Walton is 1-2 years old and is neutered, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained. He is affectionate, cuddly, curious, friendly, gentle, and playful.

Verification of veterinarian and personal references as well as Landlord (if applicable).

Meet the Pet

After approval, a meet & greet is set up between potential adopter and foster parent/cat.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

After a successful meet & greet, it will take at least 48 hours until finalizing the adoption is complete. Contract is signed & fee is paid.

Adoption Fees (without the 50% off discount):

Cats under 1 year old: $150 + 8% sales tax = $162
Cats aged 1-10 years old: $100 + 8% sales tax = $108
Two kittens under 1 year old: $225 + 8% sales tax = $243
Senior Cats (10+ years old): $75 + 8% sales tax = $81

* You must be 18 or older to adopt. If you’re under 18, you must have a parent or guardian submit an application on your behalf.
* All cats must be kept indoors. In special circumstances, we may waive this requirement on a case-by-case basis.
* We do not adopt to any home that will declaw an animal. Declawing is cruel and unnecessary.
* All cats/kittens must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
* Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or into a home with another active cat or cat-friendly dog.
* Your adoption fee helps to cover a small part of the costs of veterinary care. However, we strongly recommend that you take your new kitty to your vet for a check-up shortly after adopting to establish a relationship and a lifetime of regular check-ups and care.
