My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucas joins our rescue after being dumped on the streets of Cleveland. He would sit and wait in the spot he was dumped, hoping they would come back for him... nobody ever did. Until one day a good Samaritan was able to pick-up him and his sister. The whole ride home he was so calm like he knew he was finally safe.

Once you meet Lucas and his calm domineer, you will quickly find out he does everything in moderation. Lucas is friendly with everyone and everything. He's very playful, engaging truly a best friend by your side. He has this calm energy around him and his soulful eyes look straight into your soul.

Lucas gets excited for his daily morning walks; he loves lounging and playing with toys but what he really loves is laying right next to you. 5 min with Lucas and he will melt your heart.

TGPR is a 501.c.3 organization dedicated to the protection and rescue of Great Pyrenees in Texas and surrounding areas.

TGPR helps Great Pyrenees that are considered at-risk for physical/mental injury, cruelty and abandonment and that may be subject to euthanasia and inhumane treatment.

We have Great Pyrenees of all different ages. We want to find just the right Pyr for you. We also adopt out of state, so don't hesitate if you aren't in Texas!
