We are looking for a home for Kaia with other cats. She absolutely ADORES other cats and would need a home that has companion kitty friends. This sweet girl would be the perfect bonded mate for your current cat. She is the ultimate playful cat companion and cat cuddler and absolutely loves her kitty friends. Gentle and pensive Kaia would do best in a home that is a bit subdued and relaxed. She is somewhat people shy but absolutely loves her foster cat friends. She is a total flirt and will confidently sashay her way over to the nearest feline and pour on her most endearing purrs, trills and happy energy. If allowed she will try and sneak in for a cuddle, nuzzle or mutual cheek rubbing with the resident cats.
Kaia is cautious around strangers but eventually warms up to her human companions. She is not a fan of being carried or picked up but loves a session of petting and head scratches while lounging in your lap. Kaia will also cuddle next to you in bed at night.
She has a prior history with us at Mission for Paws. This beautiful girl was adopted as a kitten two years ago but was returned to Mission for Paws in October 2024 without any explanation from her adopter. We found out that Kaia had been dealing with Feline Infectious Peritonitis. Fortunately, in 2024, there is a simple treatment available for this condition. Kaia is doing remarkably well and is nearly finished with her treatment. She will be ready for a new home very soon.
We are currently reviewing applications. You can submit an application at www.missionforpaws.org/applicationAll cats/kittens are spay/neutered, fully vaccinated, treated for any parasites, tested for Feline Leukemia and FiV and receive a microchip with a lifetime of free registration.
