SNICKERS is a purebred Shih Tzu; about 1½ yrs old – DOB 11/23/23. He weighs 20#. He came to us with very long hair and lots of mats. One good grooming job, and presto, he’s ready to go Black Tie!! The groomer said he was VERY good. He will probably need to be groomed every 3-4 months.
This is how his foster describes him: SNICKERS is a playful little pirate. He likes to run off with your shoes and your heart. He is so happy with his accomplishments. He also will lock you out of your car with all of his enthusiasm of being in you car going for a ride. He claims shotgun every time. His favorite ride is to the local McDonald's where he is their favorite. He is also afraid of heights…he won’t jump down from the bed by himself. You need to give him some stairs or make sure you help him down in time to go outside. Snickers is the perfect companion. He will gladly escort you everywhere. He doesn’t mind the boring stuff like grocery shopping or getting gas in the car or going through the car wash. Snickers is a dog for all occasions even black tie…when he’s had his grooming appointment.
This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention.

Adoption Fees
The adoption fee includes transportation to the NE. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting.
All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog.
This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose.
