Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Ladybug is estimated to be about 4 year old pit up to date on shots, spayed, and heartworm negative. She is dog friendly but I would still recommend slow intros. She did great at other adoption events she just wants attention. There was a kiddie pool at the last event and she jumped in but then did not want to share so keep an eye out for that. She is exceptional with young children. She LOVES toys but will all destroy them too. She walks well on a leash but may get excited and have to be reminded of her manners. The one thing that is an absolute no go for her is cats! She hates cats. She is crated trained and I crate and rotate and she has had an accident in her crate if left in too long, that was my fault. She will cry or whine if I`m the crate and needs to go potty. She does not cry or whine while she is in the crate otherwise. She is a strong little thing and gets the zoomies a lot. She will follow you anywhere she wants a person/family more than anything.
To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
