Meet Bruno!
Bruno is a 9-year-old Bull Terrier with a big heart and a sweet, sensitive soul. This gentle boy is housebroken, crate trained, and dog-friendly. He’s looking for a loving home where he can feel safe, build confidence, and share his mellow, snuggly personality.

Here’s what makes Bruno special:
🐾 A Pro in His Crate: Bruno feels safe and secure in his crate and will put himself there when he’s feeling overstimulated.
🐾 Sleep Champion: This boy LOVES his beauty rest! He’s not a morning dog (or a night dog, for that matter) and would happily snooze until noon and go back to bed right after dinner.
🐾 Potty-Trained Star: Bruno hasn’t had a single accident in his foster home. While he’s hesitant about going outside (especially in the cold), he’s happy once he’s out. A little cheese as encouragement helps get him moving!
🐾 Playtime Favorite: Bruno’s one true love is a tennis ball. He lights up with joy during playtime but can break balls easily, so his future family should have plenty on hand.
🐾 Dog-Friendly: Bruno is excellent at reading other dogs’ cues. He respects boundaries, adjusts his behavior accordingly, and enjoys coexisting peacefully with canine companions.

Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.

A one-of-a-kind animal welfare organization, Anderson Humane focuses on creating and supporting mutually beneficial relationships between people and animals. Anderson Humane is a resource for pet owners, providing information and services to provide better care for their pets. Services such as our Low-Cost Vaccination, Dental, and Spay/Neuter Clinics offer affordable veterinary care options, preventing owners from having to give up their pets simply because they can’t afford care. On the horizon are additional programs to keep pets in homes, such as a pet food pantry, affordable pet training options, and temporary housing for pets when families are in crisis.
