She’s always up for some fun. Makayla has lots of energy, so she’s perfect for an active family or anyone who loves outdoor adventures. She’s excellent on a leash so that’s plus. She also appears to be house trained, making her an easy fit into your home. If you’re looking for a playful companion who will shower you with love, Makayla is the one for you!

Shelby Humane is an open intake facility in Shelby County Alabama. SH takes in over 5000 animals a year. We provide an adoption program, low-cost spay/neuter program, and low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics throughout the County. In 2018, we launched Shelby SafePet, which provides veterinary care and boarding to pets of domestic violence victims.
