Layna's story is both heart-wrenching and inspiring. It's incredible to see the resilience and determination of this brave husky.
Layna was found as a stray and ended up at the animal shelter. She was in rough shape with an injured back leg and needed emergency care to see what was going on. An x-ray confirmed she had been shot, and her leg was shattered in three places. After a cast and cage rest, it was determined an amputation was going to give her the best relief of pain and a future of no complications.
Thanks to the dedication and care of her foster family and the animal shelter staff, she's on her way to a brighter future.
Her sweet and smart personality shines through despite everything she's been through.
Layna loves playing with other dogs. She’s a husky and playtime is her favorite thing! She wants to play with cats and they get agitated. Layna is good with older kids who are ok with active dogs.
For anyone looking for a loyal and energetic companion, Layna could be the perfect addition to your family. 🐾
