My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Toto. I know … my foster mom named me after a little DOG from Kansas? Not sure what’s up with that, but let me assure you, I am ALL cat. I love to play—anytime with anything! I love it when foster mom gets out string toys for me to jump for, but I can also figure out how to entertain myself if you’re busy. My siblings and I wrestle a lot. In my new home, I’d like to have a friend who would be OK with that. Foster Mom says I’m the most “independent” of our litter, but she adds that I’m also a total love bug. Once I’m done playing, I will curl up next to you in a minute! I’m just not as “needy” as my littermates.

As you can see, I’m incredibly handsome. My coat is the shiniest, sleekest, softest jet black. I’m the biggest kitten in my litter, and I’m very strong and athletic. But I have a soft side and I appreciate getting lots of love. Kisses, pets, scritches behind the ears—I love it all!

My siblings and I were born outside, where our mom was living in a stray colony in the woods. I’m a brave boy, but it was pretty scary out there. We are so glad that Tenth Life heard about us and brought us in before it got too cold. I LOVE being an inside kitty. Now I just need a home of my own. How about yours?! Apply to meet me today!

More about this rescue

Tenth Life's Mission:
Giving cats the lives they deserve.
At Tenth Life, we believe that every cat, regardless of emotional or physical limitations, deserves the chance at a fulfilling and happy life.
We provide veterinary care, foster homes, and adoptive placement to stray cats and kittens, prioritizing those with special needs. We work to end unnecessary euthanasia and cat homelessness through educational outreach, community programs, and collaborative partnerships.

Only when a trusted veterinarian determines that a cat is in a state of incurable suffering, does Tenth Life relieve them of their pain through gentle and humane euthanasia. This difficult and thoughtful decision is never made in response to a lack of space, negative behaviors, or because a cat's medical needs are challenging or expensive.
