Odysseus is a vivacious 6-month-old tabby with an electric and energetic personality. If you are looking for a cat that is playful and engaging, look no further. Odysseus is happy as a clam receiving affection and attention but play is where he truly shines. He loves solo play and can endlessly entertain himself with any scrap. But more importantly, he LOVES to play with humans, so don’t be surprised if you find Odysseus stalking you from across the room, charging at you, doing a flip, and running away. He also thinks it’s a hoot to chase after people’s feet/shoes. He can be adopted alone or with one of his siblings who are his constant playmates. He would do well with a family that doesn’t mind a playful cat, and would benefit from having an animal companion to play with.

Must be 21 years of age. Everyone must submit a completed application, undergo a personal interview with all household members present, allow a home visit, provide references (veterinarian plus two personal), and sign a contract at time of adoption.

Go meet their pets

We show our adoptable animals at Petsmart stores in Westchester County, NY most weekends, but also attend other adoption events at various local venues. Appointments can also be made to visit with our cats in their current foster homes.

More about this rescue

We are a feline only rescue which focuses on medically fragile (bottle babies), critically ill or injured, and special needs kitten populations. We provide medical care, fostering, and love until the kittens and cats are ready for adoption. Our rescue animals are brought to us from the streets, high kill shelters, and other rescues. We believe in lending a voice to these felines in order to provide them with safer and healthier lives. We advocate for better shelter conditions/ management, provide community education, and encourage TNR programs for effective feral cat population control.
