Holly is a pretty pooch who is looking for a special home. Holly came to us when her owner moved into assisted living and his health declined to the point where he could no longer care for her properly.
Holly is a friendly, social girl who even briefly lived at the assisted living facility and made lots of friends. Holly has been around grandkids, other dogs and cats and has done well. She is affectionate and sweet, loves her walks and toys, is great in the car, likes her baths and especially the blow dryer!
Holly is fixed and up to date on rabies, bordetella and DHPP vaccines. Sadly, Holly has numerous health concerns that were not communicated to us by her family. She is blind and has a severe heart murmur. We are treating both an ear infection and eye infection and she has a a limp on her front leg which will require x-rays and further evaluation. She also has some arthritis in her back legs and is currently taking carprofen for pain and inflammation. We are working to schedule a cardio consult for her but unfortunately, it appears the murmur is severe. Poor Holly has been dealt an awful blow with all of these health concerns. We are hoping to make her final months as happy and comfortable as possible.
