Meet Rusty!

Rusty is a handsome 4-month-old mixed-doodle pup with a striking red-golden chestnut coat that will capture your heart. At 46 lbs and growing, he’s on his way to becoming a medium-sized dog and is currently enjoying his time at Sunny Bear Rescue while he waits for his perfect family. He is happy to be off of the kill list.

Rusty may be a little shy at first when meeting other dogs, but he’s quickly warming up and learning to make new friends. His house-training progress is a big plus, and he’s already shown he’s comfortable in the car, making him a great travel companion for adventures to come. While we’re still learning more about his compatibility with kids and cats, Rusty’s gentle nature suggests he’ll thrive with a patient and loving family.
