My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rocky!
This distinguished gentleman, affectionately nicknamed Bobcat, is about 13–14 years young and full of charm. Rocky loves spending his days lounging on counters and tables—though he’s learning to stay off and will hop down at the first finger snap. He’s happiest when receiving neck scratches, napping in a soft, plush bed, or overseeing all kitchen activities as the resident supervisor. While he occasionally enjoys a good string toy or ground hunt, he prefers to soak up the sunshine and relax.

Rocky is a confident cat, but when he first arrived in his foster home, he spent a couple of weeks in his own room before feeling comfortable enough to explore. Now, he loves shadowing his human throughout the day, and if he feels ignored, he’ll gently grab you with his paw to request some attention and neck scratches. Rocky is fine sharing space with other cats, though he’s not interested in play, and he peacefully coexists with a cat-friendly dog after a slow introduction. He’s only been tested with older, gentle kids (10+), but his patient nature shines through.

As a senior cat, Rocky is on a special diet and requires kidney-supporting gold drops mixed into his food. This affectionate, laid-back companion is looking for a loving home where he can bask in the sunshine, enjoy neck scratches, and oversee all the important household activities.
