My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Madelyne! Madelyne is a sweet, sassy little 1 year old torti girl who has a lot to say. She was found all alone under a Good Samaritan's Reva porch.

Madelyne is very affectionate and loves to snuggle and would be a great companion cat. She is a morning snuggler and will wake up her foster mom for snuggles. When you sit down, this sweet girl will be in your lap. Working at your desk? She will nap on her desk just to stay right there beside you.  Madelyne will let you know with her little squeeks when she needs more attention.

Madelyn loves playing with her foster brother, Rocky Road (we are currently running a special - adopt 1, get one free) and would do well adopted with Rocky Road or in a home with another young cat friend. She's friendly and well-socialized and would have no trouble in either a quiet or a high-energy home.

Madelyne is spayed, had her rabies and FVRCP vaccines, tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration - no need to re-register every year - we've done it for you. Interested in having another friend? Please email us at GoodMews22@aol.com.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process requires you filling out an approved adoption application, meeting your future family member, and signing a contract. Fees vary depending on the cat - their socialibility, age, and how long they have been looking for their furrever home. Fees range from $35 to $65. All cats are spayed/neutered, feline leukemia tested negative, and have had their first set of vaccines.

More about this rescue

Our rescue is dedicated to the cats that have been forgotten - strays that are shy and frightened, abandoned cats that once had a home and are trying to come into a home for shelter, cats that need a little more TLC than most to trust again.

These cats are struggling on our streets to be noticed, struggling for survival. They need our love, our compassion, our help.

They are the forgotten cats.
The cats that most rescues "don't have time for."

ALL cats deserve love.
ALL cats deserve a good home.
ALL cats deserve to be treated with respect and given care.

Given time, love, and nurturing, these cats become wonderful, loving housecats.

Our rescue is for the forgotten cats. In my home, they are known as the Shrinking Violets, and I have fought for their right to be loved, receive care, and the respect they deserve. Please join me with your support.
