My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bambi!

This silly ball of fur is looking for a forever home. Bambi is a very special Great Pyrenees mix with an estimated birthday of 09/01/2023, weighing in around 50lbs. Bambi may have the tall stature of her breed, but she is more slender and lanky than you may expect. She sports a fluffy white coat and eyes that will melt your heart. Bambi does fantastic with other animals of all shapes and sizes, including other dogs and cats. Of course, if you already have any dogs, a meet and greet is required. Being young, B still has lots of drive to play. She loves to run around our play yard with her other four-legged friends, and is always excited for a new toy or treat. Bambi is nothing short of a goofy girl, and won't fail to put a smile on your face.

One thing you are sure to notice when looking at Bambi is what we refer to as her "funky legs". Bambi's legs, most noticeably her front left leg, all have a degree of curve to them. When we met her, we had her seen by a trusted veterinarian for x-rays, and they informed us that although her legs look so bizarre, the curves are nothing more than the result of birth defects. They don't cause Bambi and pain, but she may be more prone to developing arthritis sooner than the average dog. As far as Bambi is concerned, they don't slow her down one bit, and they just add a little extra personality to this already larger than life girl.

Bambi is fully vetted and microchipped, but she has not yet been spayed. Her adoption fee is $175 + a refundable $75 spay deposit.
