Meet Azula, a sweet and gentle 6-month-old kitten with a heart full of potential. Though she may be a little shy at first, Azula is learning to trust and is well on her way to becoming a loving companion. Azula enjoys the company of other cats, and currently resides with her friend Lelouch in our meet-and-greet room. With a little patience, Azula will warm up to her new family and show her affectionate side.
Personality:
Affection Level: Azula is still a little shy around people, but once she feels comfortable, she’s sweet and loving. She may need some time to warm up, but when she does, you’ll see her true, affectionate nature. Energy Level: Azula is playful and loves to interact with other cats. While she enjoys a good play session, she’s also content to relax and observe her surroundings. Likes: Azula loves the company of other cats, and would thrive in a home with a feline friend. Treats are also a great way to win her over! Dislikes: Azula can be a little wary of new people and situations. She may need time to adjust, but with patience, she’ll start to trust and open up. Perfect Home: Azula would do best in a calm, patient home where she can take her time to adjust. A home with another cat would be ideal, as she enjoys the company of fellow felines.
Behavior with Kids: Due to her shy nature, Azula would likely do best in a home without young children. Older children who can be gentle and patient may be a good fit, but interactions should be calm and respectful. Behavior with Other Pets: Azula enjoys the company of other cats, so she would do well in a home with another cat. She may need a slow introduction to any new pets.
Health & Medical: Azula has had a few bouts of upper respiratory infections, leading us to believe she may have a chronic upper respiratory condition. With proper care and regular vet check-ups, Azula can lead a happy, healthy life. She’s also on a special gastro diet for her sensitive stomach.
Ideal Home: Azula would thrive in a quiet, patient home where her new family understands that building trust takes time. She needs a calm, structured environment to help her feel secure and loved. Once she’s comfortable, Azula’s sweet and playful nature will shine through.

We require potential adopters to fill out an pre-adoption application. If that application is approved, the dog/cat must be spayed/neutered before it leaves our shelter (if not already done). If it is a puppy under 4 months old, we allow it to go home with the adopters under a foster care agreement until it is old enough to be returned for spay/neuter. Kittens are allowed to leave before spay/neuter is done, but they must be done within a certain time frame.
Fees: Dogs/puppies range from $150-300, depending on if they came in already spayed/neutered or if we paid to have that done.
Cats range from $80 - $140, though we often have deals on older cats or cats that have been there a long time.
Kittens are $60 with $25 refunded once it has been spayed/neutered.
All adoptions include at least the first vaccination, deworming, de-fleaing, microchip ID, and 6 weeks of pet insurance.
