Meet Eevee 🐾✨

Eevee’s journey hasn’t been easy—she was surrendered when her owner fell ill due to terminal cancer and the stress of change made her wary of new faces. But her foster mom saw a spark of sweetness in her and decided to give her a chance. 💖

Once in her foster home, Eevee quickly showed her playful side, pouncing on her fish toy and enjoying pets. Her favorite time is chasing the wand toy with adorable tumbles and rolls 🐈‍⬛🎣. While she gets overstimulated and lets you know when she’s had enough or wants food, she’s also incredibly smart—she knows words like “treat time” 🍪 and “food time” 🍽️. She also isn’t shy about sharing her opinions with loud meows, especially if something doesn’t meet her royal standards!

Eevee is looking for a calm home where she can reign as queen 👑 (no other cats, please!). Her ideal adopter will be someone with experience caring for cats who have big purrsonalities 🐱✨—someone who understands that a little sass comes with a lot of love. With patience, respect for her boundaries, and plenty of treats, Eevee will reward you with trust, playfulness, and her unique charm. 💕

Their adoption process

1.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

We have 2 adoption centers thru PetSmart located in Cerritos and Garden Grove. We also hold adoption events bi-weekly at Pet Food Express.

2.
Submit Application

Applications can be submitted either in person or online. Each application must be reviewed and approved by our team.

3.
Meet the Pet

If your application is approved, it's time to set up a meet n greet. Meet n greets are by appointment only.

Additional adoption info

When a potential adopter is interested in one of our kitties, they are required to fill out an application. After it's review and if approved, a meet and greet is set up to determine if it is a good match.

Upon adoption all cats are vaccinated, microchipped, FIV/FELV tested, sterilized, dewormed and given flea medication.

Founded in 2016, The Little Lion Foundation is an all volunteer based team dedicated to saving the lives of orphaned kittens in need and finding each and every one the home they deserve. We specialize in the neonatal kittens as well as trauma cases and special needs kittens. We pride ourselves in saving the ones left discarded... from blind to physically special, we believe every kitty is worth fighting for.

We provide each kitten with vaccines, spay/neuter surgery, microchip, FIV/FELV test, dewormed, regular flea treatment, and any other medical needs our Little Lions may require and we will stop at nothing to save that precious soul.

We are based in Long Beach, Ca and currently inhabit 3 adoption centers thru PetSmart in Cerritos, Huntington Beach, and Garden Grove. We hold weekly adoption events at either PetSmart locations as well as Pet Food Express in Long Beach.

We are a 501c3 non profit organization and 100% of donations received go directly toward the care of our kitties. We rely solely on the generosity of our supporters to keep our mission going.
