Meet this beautiful, hand-holding senior kiddo named Chase! He’s a healer in disguise as a cat with his calm demeanor, and his ability to reach out and hold your hand so therapeutically. This beautiful mature guy is sweet and affectionate and is both a lap cat and a cuddler. He’ll keep you warm on winter nights and accompany you on the couch or while you’re at the table just to be close to you.

Chase has lived with other cats and his easygoing personality would make him a good fit for pretty much all households, as long as they can give him the love and affection that he so truly deserves. Chase may be getting on up there, but he has a playful streak and loves to chase a feather wand (any questions about where he got his name?). Like many senior cats, Chase has hyperthyroidism, which is managed by taking medication 2x/day. He loves eating and is able to be fed his meds at meal time, eliminating the need to pill him. But since he’s such a sweet cat, he could likely be pilled pretty easily anyway!

Chase is a catnip fiend! Give him some nip and he’ll roll away and play with it, content as can be, enjoying the effects it brings him. And when he’s done, he’ll come up to you, extend a hand, and ask to binge watch some movies on the couch with you. He is the perfect companion for anyone who ever wanted an affectionate, cuddly cat, and you can invite him to be yours today.

You will be emailed a link to our online adoption contract. Simply fill it out online to transfer ownership from the rescue to you!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
