My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sammy🧡

He was staying at Korean City shelter with his four siblings. He came to the shelther when he's too young so he was in a bad condition.
We took them to the vet and urgently rescued the babies who had nowhere to go after safely receiving treatment.

* With People: Sniffs strangers carefully, but likes people so much that he keeps wagging his tail. Is so snuggly and affectionate to familiar people, licking them constantly!
* With Dogs: Got along well with other dogs at the Center without any problems.
* Separation Anxiety: Is staying well at the foster home without separation anxiety. In a new environment, some training may be needed.
* Potty Training: Is smart enough to use pee pads well. There's no marking at all. But in a new environment, training may be necessary.
* Hygiene: If the foster gives him a snack and take care of him slowly, he gets nail trimming or drying well without resistance. His milk tooth is emerging, so he get his teeth brushed with rubbing toothpaste on the gums. Takes it very well.

💌Special Notes 💌
* As a puppy, he may need training in areas such as separation anxiety, potty habits, biting, nipping, whining, disorderly behaviors, howling and barking.
* It is difficult to predict his shedding and growth size because his parents are unknown.
* Is a very gentle puppy who goes to bed by himself when he is sleepy and does not bark loudly.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US and Canada when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue

ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.

We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.

Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.

In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.

Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
