FAMILY HAD A DEATH IN FAMILY AND NOW CANNOT STAY IN HOME AND FINANCES ARE BAD. This is private matter but family wants to ensure that Murphy needs a new home to NO FAULT OF HIS OWN. Family wants nothing more than finding a home for Murphy who is a great dog that deserves and needs a loving wonderful home.
****URGENT****Pontiac, MI - Murphy is a 3yr. Old Saint, Bernard. He is an indoor beloved saint bernard. He must have a fenced in yard and would do great in just about any home. He is fantastic with children, adults, and other dogs. He has not had much exposure to cats. He has a laid back and passive personality and not a mean bone in his body. He loves to curl up on the couch next to you and suck on blankets. He sits just like a person right on his butt, loves belly rubs, and car rides. He puts his arm against you for support to get a good belly rub. Blankets are his favorite (sometimes he will share with you and bring you the blanket in his mouth), but he is always game for Tug of war. He also never complains; once he had a lesion on his paw from stepping on a stick or other in the yard and never complained. Only when cleaning his paws and doing nails did it get noticed and treated. He needs someone who will truly look after him. He deserves it and will never let you cry alone! If he senses you're sad, he will be right next to you for company and a therapeutic pet. He does pull on the leash and has a history with allergies and some ear issues that ebb and flow so attention to his ears will be needed. Other than that health wise he is perfect and updated on all his vaccines. He recently had his heartworm, general bloodwork and urinalysis done- all of which came back healthy and normal. Murphy does not like the heat and will hang out inside the house during summer months, but come winter he is blazing trails and laying in the snow all day. Sometimes he won’t even come in the house for a treat in the winter time.
