Eva has had a tough life, living in a home that was abusive and neglectful of Eva. She spent most of her time hiding from her owner so she didn't get yelled at. Fortunately for Eva, a family member rescued her and gave Eva the love & support that she needed to get over her past. She loves looking out the window and would be happiest with a cat tree where she could view the world. She now likes to snuggle but needs a quiet home where she can feel safe.Please submit an application at pawshs.org and NOT a Petfinder inquiry as they may not be answered due to the volume of these inquiries received.
Our adoption fees include the cost of spaying/neutering, vaccinations (including rabies for cats / dogs over 4 months of age), flea prevention, worming, FeLV/FIV testing, heartworm test for dogs over 1 yrs old, and microchipping. We are a volunteer foster based rescue group that helps animals in need in the Winnebago and Boone county areas.
Our main focus is spay /neuter assistance since we do not have a shelter.
We are often times confused with the local county shelter.
We have fosters for both cats and dogs...and do have a feline adoption center inside the PETCO on E State St.
We have monthly adoption events throughout the year.
