My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Greta is a sweet girl who also responds to the name Sydney. She loves to be petted and will give you head butts. She loves to explore the house from top to bottom. You can find her napping in a fuzzy cat bed or under a blanket on the bed or couch. She will entertain herself with cat toys and uses a cat tower to claw and climb. A favorite toy is a teaser wand, and she loves "her" green blanket. Greta will let you pick her up for a short time and then wants down. A treat can encourage her to stay held longer. She has been around a dog and got along fine.

More about this rescue

Shadow Cats TNR (SCTNR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting animals in need. Our mission is to establish and manage programs for the welfare of community cats, companion animals, and pet owners needing assistance, in collaboration with other community partners, rescue groups and shelters.

We specialize in controlling the community cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). As a result of the TNR process, we often acquire, along with feral cats, friendly and semi-friendly cats and kittens. We work to place these cats into appropriate homes through our adoption and barn cat programs. SCTNR seeks to educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering all pets as well as controlling the cat populations in our county.
