My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Padme is a voluptuous mini rex that is estimated to be around 4.5yrs. She initially came to us from animal control. If you like curvy buns- she is your girl! She's got the cutest rolls we've ever seen. And she is adoptable with her daughter, Leia. Leia was born in May 2024.

You can get the ball rolling on the adoption process by filling out our adoption application here:

More about this rescue

We are a Metro Detroit, foster home based, domestic rabbit rescue. Our mission is to rescue and rehabilitate stray, injured, sick, or abandoned domestic rabbits. When they are rehabilitated they are spayed/neutered and placed for adoption. If they're unable to be rehabilitated they are provided sanctuary for the remainder of their lives, with one of our loving foster homes.
