Meet Miss Marmalade !

An adorable 1-yr old, 10-pounfd Dachshund mix with a big personality. She does well in her crate and is house-trained as long as she's given sufficient outdoor breaks.

This sweet, cuddly girl has a knack for stealing hearts, especially when she snuggles up close to her favorite person. She thrives on attention and loves being the center of your world. Her playfulness leads her toward the tendency to pick up things like socks, shoes, or things within reach so she initailly needs monitoring until she learns.

Though she’s playful and full of energy, Miss Marmalade does have a nervous side. Her territorial instincts can lead to growling, barking, or even lunging at strangers, visitors, or other dogs. She’s protective of her space and can get overwhelmed by sudden changes, making her best suited for someone who can guide her through training and socialization.

While Miss Marmalade has shown some snippy behavior when nervous or startled, her loving nature shines through when she feels safe. She’s incredibly affectionate with her person and has endless potential to grow with the right care and patience.
