My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Klondike, an adult dog with a personality as sweet as her name suggests. Her shy demeanor masks a playful spirit that blossoms in the right environment. She loves gentle games of fetch, followed by quiet moments of companionship. Klondike is a loyal friend, always ready to lend a comforting presence. She has a knack for sensing emotions, providing solace on tough days and joining in joy during happy moments. Her sweetness is not just in her nature, but also in the love she has to give. Klondike is ready to share her heart with a family who will cherish her. Adopting Klondike means gaining a companion who will add sweetness, playfulness, and a comforting presence to your life. Don`t miss out on the opportunity to make your life richer with Klondike by your side.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
