Meet Murphy, 3 years old and 23 lbs of typical Beagle. He's nose-to-the-ground and on a mission to explore on every outdoor adventure, but walks well on the leash and adores being outside at every possible moment! Murphy would be a fantastic companion for hikes, walks & adventures - he's comfortable around noise and doesn't care about the cold. At first, he can be a bit shy, but then that tail starts wagging because he loves attention from everyone, including kids, and doesn't bark or jump when meeting someone new at home or on walks. He enjoys time in his crate and burrowing under blankets to get comfortable. On the vocal side (Beagle!) when he spots other dogs because he wants to play with them, Murphy will benefit from a home who understands the quirks and joys of this breed, has a fenced yard for his ever-curious nose to explore, & gets this willing, sweet, and smart little guy some training!
