My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lylla (Bean) is a simple kitten. She is very easy going and doesn't take much to make her happy. She loves music and will come running for snuggles if you sing to her. She is absolutly obssesed with spring toys and tolit paper rolls! If she even thinks she hears a spring she will magicly appear at your feet waiting to grab it. She enjoys snuggling up and night and sometimes early in the morning. She can be a faily active cat but is very good at keeping herself entertained if you are busy doing something. She does very well with our high energy large and small dog and she does well with quiet cats. However, recently she does get scared and cornered by one of our older cats. She does do well with the rest of the older cats though, as long as they leave her space and do not corner her. Bean does have some food sensitivitys but if she sticks to her diet (non perscription) food she does fantastic. She has been amazing to have around with her sweet, mild, and loving temperment.

Lylla would fit well in just about any environment! She does fantastic with high energy dogs. She uses the litter box wonderfully.

Go meet their pets

Adoption events are held at Petsmart in Corvallis, Oregon. Events will be posted on our website, www.keithaskittierescue.org, and our Facebook page as well as advertised through partners.

All our cats can be seen via a pre-arranged "meet & greet" at anytime.

We do not have a brick and mortar shelter, but we have wonderful, caring foster homes.

More about this rescue

Keitha’s Kittie Rescue was created on August 10, 2017. and became a non-profit, 501(c)(3) on December 27, 2017. We just recently taken another rescue under our wing, Calapooia Critters Rescue and Transport.

The other shelters in the area often require owners to pay a fee to abandon their animal, or overcrowded and not able to take the animal, have the owner make an appointment to assess the animal or there is no local shelter in the community, and sometimes the animals a stray and takes time to adjust before being adopted or they need medical care. Keitha’s Kittie Rescue is all volunteer, foster based shelter.

Volunteers care for the cats and kittens in their homes. Adoption events are also held at Petsmart in Corvallis, Oregon. All money goes for the cats litter, food and medical care.

Our mission is to create a safe environment and find a future home for the unwanted, unloved, forgotten cats that no other rescue will take. We get a lot of injured, ill, and abused cats. Our veterinarian bills are quite high but we do what we can to raise funds and keep our animals in the best health. We NEVER euthanize unless it is extremely necessary. We have a few hospice foster homes where an animal can live out the rest of its days in love and comfort. It is our calling, our focus, and our main drive in life.
